The UL Lafayette Graduate team in Petroleum Engineering won first place for student presentations at GOM Deepwater Technical Symposium in New Orleans. David Sergio was honored by  the Symposium committee and more than four hundred industry participants for his outstanding research and presentation. He was also awarded a cash prize as the first-place winner. The UL Lafayette PETE team beat out over 20 student and poster presentations. Congratulations to all UL Lafayette PETE students for raising the quality bar and displaying the academic ability of our University.
